how would South Africa look if it didn't have a history of White immigration and leadership?

Was there a wheel, written language, etc before Whites arrived? Both the Xhosa and the Zulu were still living tribal societies and in the case of the Zulu very brutal.

Would Blacks in SA get rid of cars, buses, technology, electricity, etc if they killed all the Whites? Since they hate Whites so much you would think they wouldn't want to benefit from White technology.
