This president given the biggest economic mess in history courtesy of the pathetic Bush administration. Hidden disasters await because of 8 years of Republican policies. The Afghan war is a greater mess than the previous administration led on and in dealing with it, a General lost his nerve. President Obama, in yet another example of why he's superior to anything the Right can put forth, took charge this week. Haters, continue to chase your tails.

A general lost his nerve?

I'd say the troops in the field have told us EXACTLY what they think of the inept moron masquerading as CiC.

The disdain they feel for obama and his staff and the mockery of his civilian leadership is very telling.

Military personnel are always good at ferreting out the imposters.

Well said sanrene!
The military need to respect their leader and it is MORE than obvious that not only do they not respect obama but they have disdain for him. I don't blame them! He is a NOT a leader, he is a politician to the core.

Bush may have left about a $-trillion deficit, which was then tripled by Obama. While Bush was bad enough about big government and spending like there was no tomorrow, Obama has topped Bush by a wide margin.

And no, I am not a Republican, nor a Democrat, and don't give a "dung" for any of these two (just so you know).

This is one tough man. He does not show his emotions but he will kick some rear when necessary. Or when he feels it is necessary.

And as far as the OPs original post about obama reasserting his authority. . . I hate to tell you but there is nothing to reasssert because he never had any from the beginning. He is weak, and not a leader, just a politician. Even his own military disrespect him to the max.

You are absolutely right about that! Do you get the feeling that the OP does not even know anyone in the military?

The military personnel take an oath to uphold and enforce the Constitution of the Untied States of America.

Looks like they have done their research and decided it was time to voice the Presidents unconstitutional actions, and the ridiculous death marches they have the troops on, in the Afghan Theater.
