This story tells it all. You are economically worse off NOW than you were when the Republicans came to power. Not only are you paying much more for medical insurance but your wages have actually FALLEN! Even if you are a college graduate, you are making LESS. Only the RICH have made more.

I am far from rich but I am better off now than I was 10 years ago, my mortgage is paid
off, my vehicle is paid for, I pay my credit card debts off every month to avoid interest
payments, Yes I'd say I am better off now. Oh and I've been retired for 10 years!

The rich are no better off than the rest of us . The elite are but not the rich who got that way working .

The biggest foreclosures and walk-a-ways now are on million dollar homes .

Yeah I am. But part of that has to do with the fact that my kids are adults now and one graduated from college already. It's the bills bills bills that do me in. I've also become more financially savvy and less of a consumer. I've learned I don't need things like the most comprehensive cable tv plan or memberships to things I rarely take advantage of.

I'm not rich, but like meson am much better off than 10 years ago. We have since paid off wife's student loans, finished paying off our mortgage, have absolutely zero debt, and both the careers are going really well. The only big negative I can come up with is two of our beloved pets have died so we're down to one cat plus the emergency backup dog.

So, now that your claim that only the rich are better off has been proven false, I assume the thread is done?
