Why can't we change with the times?

Too many of you folks on the left are such defeatists, and some of you are practically dancing the *** at the thought of America finally getting their comeuppance.

Oddly enough though, it is the liberal ideology being put into practice that is slowly eroding away at this country. The Creme deme de la Creme of liberal bull**** is the 0bama-Pelosi-Reid team, and we are rejecting it all. I'm hoping that thru 0bama America opens its eyes to how flawed liberals are, and starts a full scale rejection of all those liberal ideas. Hell, even Europe is waking up to just how distrustive to a country liberalism can be.

There are liberals in both major political parties, and we need to start kicking them out of all political offices. They put their big government policies into law, and we get trillions of debt, and they scratch their little wooden heads and decide that spending even more will work, "We just need to spend a few trillion more, then it will all work out."

I believe these were your words:

We gave him 18 months, and now both 0bama and Biden say farewell to America's greatness, we shall
all now consign ourselves to being a lesser America, and lesser people then we were these past centuries.

Wherever did all the hope and change go to?

Look no matter what, don't care what any of you have to say, he has been in office now long enough, for most of us to know how Obama conducts his business. And too many People even those who voted for him, don't like how he conducts business in D.C. very different then most of his speeches he talked at, saying he would bring a new era of change to D.C. well if this is his Change, he can shove it. Before he is done and over, this Country will have been messed up so much more then any President, could even imagine, JUST WAIT. It's starting to happen. And i still have the Videos we taped of most of his Speeches, so that i could play them back and here his lies. Most of you voted for someone new with a promise of a new era of HOPE AND CHANGE, yes we can, NO WE CAN'T WE HAVE BEEN OFFERED NO DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WE HAVE KNOWN, EXCEPT, DON'T TRUST OBAMA ONE IOTA. ECONOMY SUCKS, EMPLOYMENT STILL DOWN, WORSE HOUSING SITUATION WITH MANY MANY BANK FORECLOSURES, SHORT SALES AND REPOS, MORE THEN EVER, BUSINESSES STILL SHUTTING DOWN, MOM AND POP BUSINESSES CANNOT MAKE IT, This is not the change i hope most of you wanted, because if this is the change, YOU GOT IT. Obama then and now, pretty much the same story, but never points finger back at himself.

It does not matter who you put in office. They are not going to stop the decline of the USA both in power and economics. You can change Democrat-Republican-Democrat-Republican forever. The country is still going to be in decline. We have crested our hill and cannot stay on top forever. That does not mean we will FAIL as a nation state. It just means we will have to learn to accept that we are not longer "all that and more" to the world and adjust to lower expectations and a lower standard of living.

NOBODY- Obama, McCain or Romney is going to fix these problems. They are structural systemic problems. We just cannot compete in the global economy and the new world order as effectively as we used to.

Before 0bama's liberal policies went into effect he was optimistic, and so was Biden. You could see it in their words that I quoted, from 2009. Then, a year after their liberal "change" policies went into place, I quote them essentially talking about the end of "hope", and we must resign ourselves to being a lesser people, of a lesser country.

Note to liberals, pressing the "EASY" button only make things worse. Implementing higher taxes and borrowing money to enable free this, and free that, doesn't work. 0bama is showing us that when his policies don't work, his just hits the accelerator pedal on his Limo. Even the libs in Europe are starting to see that tax and spend does not work, but 0bama is is going into passing gear and waving as he passes them by. Hopefully we can put the brakes on in 2010, and take away his keys in 2012.

Where is the better economic and business model then, the slave state of China?

The whole reason things appear pessimistic to you, is because liberal policies, ie strands of socialism,, have slowly eroded free market capitalism in this country. If we remain of our current track of centralized government and high taxes, then you vision of America's future will be realized.

I'm not saying we have no regulations, and no government control. I'm also not saying that we allow the free market to run unchecked and plunder the earth, and poison the land water and air. We need sensible laws and regulations to form the framework for a free market to operate within.

What we have today are new laws, thousands of pages long, where the policy makers don't even read them, and tell us we need to let them be passed into law, to see what's in them. We also see new laws and regulations being written to retroactively punish and control targeted businesses, these practices are killing this country.
