* Why do you think Obamadung went to Chicago in the first place. He went there for a reason.
Just look at the states with the most glaring and troublesome debt problems. Basically all run by democrats.

Apparently Illinois will surpass California about the failure game, it's unbelievable.
I hope these states will have new governors as Chris Christie to save them.

Oh wow. Umm, you do recall Ryan was sent to jail for the license-for-bribe scandal. Please explain how that (while inexcusable) sent the state into the crapper and put the budget in crisis. And what horrible laws laws were passed by the far right that put the budget in crisis?

You obviously have had your head in the sand about the politics in Illinois and what's been going on the past 15 years or so.

Brady, the Republican is ahead of that tool Quin, thank goodness. Now if only the people would get some smarts and vote the corrupt democrats out of the legislature, all would be better.

Amazing disconnect from reality.

Hard times for Ill., but not for governor's staff

Quote:
Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn has handed out raises—some of more than 20 percent—to his staff while proclaiming a message of "shared sacrifice" and planning spending cuts of $1.4 billion because the state is awash in debt.

The Democrat has given 43 salary increases averaging 11.4 percent to 35 staffers in the past 15 months, according to an Associated Press analysis of records obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
