A British couple from Maine, who came here legally on an E-2 visa ten years ago, are now being booted from the United States. Why? Because some bureaucrat deems their business not profitable enough. Keep in mind, they provide part time jobs for locals and are virtually debt free. This is sick and just wrong. Now they will lose everything and have to move out of the country. But, 11 million illegals, can stay.....

So according to most libs, Obama, and Homeland Security, we cant protect the border, we cant enforce our laws, we cant tell the illegals to leave, yet we can kick out a couple who came here legally and have actually done something with their lives?! Theyve done something to help contribute to society yet they cant stay?

Now I dont know who is behind the denial of their visa but whoever it is, I hope they get their due in life.

Obama and the left will bend over backwards to defend illegals and legal parasites; actually they promote the act of being a parasite in this country and encourage it. Yet what happens in this case? "Sorry, we know you are trying and contributing to society, so youll have to go. Bye"

Now here come the sick few on the Left who will be okay with this.

Yes, they obeyed all laws, CONTRIBUTED something to this country, and they get kicked out. At the same time, they are trying to force an amnesty upon us.

Apologies for this thread being done before. I shouldve searched.

So because you dont see this else where, you dont think its true? Do you really expect the big media to pick up on this? The media isnt picking up on the New Black Panther story, so does that mean that isnt true either? Come on now, you should get it by now. Guarantee if this had been a Mexican couple or some other hispanic couple, it wouldve gotten more play. Just like the Panther story. If that was a white power dude instead, itd be on every big outlet out there.

As your [bad] luck would have it, E2 visa must be renewed every year. In other words, to maintain legal status they must go through the renewal process. And if they can't justify their stay (pretty much like any other expired visa that may or may not be up for renewal) but choose to stay, they will be deemed illegal immigrants by the very definition you apply to other people.

Please don't tell me that you support people living here after their visa has expired but INS refuses to renew it, for them not meeting the requirements.

Here is my problem with it. We wont do anything about the millions of illegals here. We wont secure the border. And we continue to grow the parasite social class of our society. But when you have a couple who are contributing and supporting themselves, and they are the ones kicked out. Then Yes, giving all that, I do have a problem with it.

Wow. Reading the header to this thread one would think that no illegals were deported...
The 387,790 illegal immigrants removed by ICE in fiscal 2009 was still a record, as cited in the department's Fiscal Year 2009 Annual Financial Report, which was dated Nov. 16.

Including both categories, ICE removed 387,790 in illegal immigrants in the year ending Sept. 30, 2009, compared with 369,221 in 2008 -- a 5 percent increase.

Counting only those deported by ICE, the total grew 13 percent, from 264,541 in 2008 to 298,401 in 2009.
What! A record number of deportations under Obama!?

Why isn't the headline "Obama deports record number of illegal aliens, greater than any prior President?"

Funny how they care about the legal status of them, don't ya think? Nobody cares about the legal status of 20 Mil. illegals.
