Why should she apologize for her husband's actions?
Do you routinely apologize for the actions of your relatives,OP?

While I DO think that it's not very smart for Ruth Madoff to be seen anywhere near NYC (probably for the rest of her life) I do NOT think that she has anything to apologize for.

I don't think his wife DIDN'T know what he was doing. It is too hard to believe that he did it all by him self. In a time that most people didn't make much money on stocks he was making millions...

I understand that some wife's claim to be naive and had no clue if their husband was cheating but most do know but rather deny it...to me this is exactly what she was doing.

He had mistresses and the money he made wasn't adding up...so to me guilty by association to say the least! She had her good years no let her have the bad years which so many have due to Madoff.

People who survived the Holocaust and than by one of them being scammed in such a way are no words for...
