I am sure that Dirty Harry really doesn't know that Ford refused any money from Obama. Maybe he is trying out for ''Foot in Mouth'' standing at lease even with Biden.
The bailout did help Ford. GM, Ford, and Chrysler use common parts suppliers. If GM and Chrysler go under, those parts suppliers go under and Ford is without parts suppliers and also goes under.

Wrong. Other companies would have stepped in bought those companies for a song and dance and the machine would have kept on rolling. Ford would have probably found financing somewhere to make some of the those discounted purchases themselves.
