"jibes"

Not sure if you're aware of this, but the US encourages capitalism in all countries; Sri Lanka is no exception.
Thread titles just fine.

Not sure if you're aware that the federal agency is part of the obama administration, under his direction.

Is this all you have?

I seriously doubt some of his supporters would EVER find anything wrong with his actions and policies. Amazing.

Weren't you one of those posters concerned about outsourcing when Bush was in office?

Trust me, they are not doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.
They are doing this because labor costs are cheaper.

We have people in Bangladesh who are fighting for a 35 cent raise hike so they can afford food because the money Wal-Mart is currently paying them to put together the clothes we Americans buy at Wal-Mart is not enough to put adequate food on the table.

Perhaps you can point out where these are identified as "good, high-paying" jobs as alleged in your OP?

FWIW...I don't care who is in the oval office, outsourcing in a time like this is just well, stoopid...I know way to many people that could use a job right now..

The federal government is a lot bigger and has a lot more going on all the time than you might think. I'd be willing to bet you Obama right this minute doesnt even know about this program.

Are you unfamiliar with Obama's goal for the program?
Obama's appointee describing Obama's global social justice goal:
Quote:
...Obama in January tapped Shah to head USAID. At the time of his appointment, Shah—whose experience in the development community included senior positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation—said the organization needed to focus more on helping developing nations build technology-based economies.

Just like Obama appointee Bolden's assertion that Obama wanted NASA's primary mission to be outreach to the Muslim world to help them feel good about their contributions to science and engineering.
