Can't say that there is blood shooting out of my eyeballs, but I did laugh so hard that I burped up my ginger ale.

Its my understanding that all of those married before Prop 8's marriages will just become legal again. Its not like they just went away.

All this does is give license to those who want to get married now.

Reparations are a stupid practice, by people who want to rub salt in a wound. Just let it go. The best thing homosexuals can do, is shut up, live their life, and be happy productive members of society.

Same for pot smokers when it gets legalized.

Actually... they remained valid marriages even after Prop 8 was passed.

I want reparations too. I don't know what yet, but I'll think of something.

Really? I heard they weren't grandfathered in. Well, learn something new everyday.

I wouldn't say reparations are needed, but I would drag the Mormon Church (among others) through the courts and make them bleed for violating 501(c)(3)

From the IRS:
To be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, it may not be an action organization, i.e., it may not attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities and it may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates.

If they try to influence legislation (which they did) they should pay taxes.

They can donate to a 527 group, which can do whatever it is they'd like.

Loopholes my friends, loopholes.

Loopholes that should not exist. I say if you're tax-free, you shouldn't abuse that privilege.
