So just because a few sensitive god fearing followers are uppity because of their hatred of Muslims, you want to not allow them their building to be built?

They have a right to build their building anywhere they want.

Its not at Ground Zero, its 2 blocks away.

What about all the other muslim based businesses that are already in the area? Why aren't you hypocrites want them to leave?
No one is trying to stop the practicing of religious freedom. Stop perpetuating a LIE.

There are hundreds of Mosques in NYC. Respect for those who died and location is what this is about. Period.

Just showing the hypocrisy of those who are against the building of the community center.

Of course you don't realize it.

Women are supposed to be stoned for any "bad" things they do
Women are supposed to be property of man
Women are treated as second class citizens

Show me those scriptures.

Have you read the Bible lately?

There is intolerance of homosexuals yet despite the book telling us we should be "kind" to one another.

Do you follow your faith to the fullest and every scripture 100%?

If you don't, then why can't Muslim followers do the same?
Because to many don't do the same. The video explains the quran is direct commands but the others are not. It doesn't matter you didn't watch it becuase you already know everything. I don't care because your not worth my time any longer. You are not willing to learn.

So what? There are 100 churches within a 5 mile radius of where I live. I don't attend any of them, but go to a church that is 10 miles away (because of the open nature of the church)

Respect? What respect is being given to the Muslims who died on 9/11 who were not part of the attack.

So the Muslim community center can't be there because of a few uptight god fearing idiots?

Location: 2 blocks away.
There are other Muslim businesses and gathering areas already around the area. Why aren't these hypocrites demanding that these businesses and their patrons be moved?

I'm not willing to learn? Yes, remain with your bigot attitude.

I have several Muslim friends. And they've demonized those who practice Radical Islam for the very reasons why we hate those who follow it.

They do not want 'sharia' law and all that fear mongering by you, other hypocrites in this thread, and your "video" will not change that.

Facts that are being conveniently ignored.

Again! This is a Constitutional issue.

Like there are RADICAL people of all religions

Can we condemn all of Christianity for the acts of the Family International religious group? The group that kidnaps and enslaves children and uses them in child pornography, and commit acts of rape against them?

If you want to paint with that broad brush, you have to accept that there are equally extremist followers of Christianity who do as much barbaric acts against humans as any other extremist religious followers.

Please answer this question
My answer is simple most who are very strongly against child porno are actually the religious right(christian groups). The family international religious group and other christian groups which committe crimes in the name of christianity is a very small portion not enough to create an army to attack america and other nations. If you ask any minster or priest or any religious leader in the christian community about this group they will denounce it. The imam of this mosque wont denounce radical islam and obama. That is the difference. I answered your question. Can you answer mine.

yOU Guys are dumb. It was musims who did 9/11 not a small group of extremists. Why don't you learn the history of islam. The history is a history of terrorism. Muhammad was a terrorist, pedophile, rapist. They have been spreding religion through force since the 6century and it has never ever stopped. The quran permits these activities. Do the research. Yes there are tons of peaceful muslims, but they are not following there religion. Muslims are the biggest victims to muslims of all. Espesially the woman. Iv read the quran have you?
Really?! All 1 billion muslims were in on the attack? Well, that's news to me.

There deliberate, in your face course this Imam and others are taking with this Mosque deserves attention, and frankly they need to be investigated. This Imam has said enough to warrant attention from the FBI and a thorough investigation needs to be done on his past, his ties, and his funding.

If this mosque goes forward, they sure as hell better at least change their ground breaking date from 9/11 to something different. And I hope the FBI infiltrates them as well as other mosques throughout the country and keeps tabs on them.
