The upcoming fall of the Dem's is of their own making. It's becoming a self fulfilling prophecy which makes it all the better.
They not only shoot themselves in the foot, they manage to shoot both feet and then want assistance from the rest of us so they can recover from their stupidity!

I can't play the audio, but that link (above) has this as the statement (I assume just a small part of the interview):

"How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we've been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City."
Sorta a crazy statement. And what is the Treasure Island reference?

She isn't calling into looking into who spoke out, she is calling for an investigation into who is funding the public opposition.
I disagree though. Just stating that for the facts. Its not a battle against free speech, its to see who is funding the efforts. Never know, Islamic Terrorists could be funding it. It would be good for them if the Mosque wasn't allowed to be built there.

Yeah, but the goal would be to destroy the funders, and thus silencing the speech.
So we're not supposed to be looking into who is building/funding the Mosque, but its ok for the govt to investigate if someone is funding the opposition.
Last I checked it costs nothing to say I don't approve of the Mosque. People can get that opinion (or the contrary position) without any funding or brainwashing.
