Sen. John McCain lost a bitter campaign against Barack Obama in 2008 and has been at loggerheads with him for much of Obama's first two years in office. But the Arizona Republican this weekend called Obama a "patriot" intent on using his presidency to "advance our country's cause" and rejected accusations -- many coming from members of his own party and the tea party movement -- "that his policies and beliefs make him unworthy to lead America."

It's called having class. Of course McCain doesn't think that obama's doing a good job. But he knows better than to speak poorly of a sitting President.

Democrats could learn from him.

They could also learn from the Bush family.

The air appears to be coming out of the hot air balloon that is the GOP effort to again take over this country. The president is incredibly successful and good to see that even McCain must concede the obvious. GOP continues to flounder badly with the existence of Palin and Jared the shooter.

Another win for Obama with McCain's sentiments here!

Successful?

He was playing with a loaded deck! and he still barely got anything done.

Never before has a President had such large majorities in both houses.

It would be like a football team going 16-0 because they are playing with 15 men on the field.

Their record would look great, but look at the why.
