As long as they pick up their litter and behave themselves, why not?

Said AFL-CIO union boss Arlene Holt Baker ".....“The AFL-CIO is determined that the Tea Party and its corporate backers are not going to get the final word,” said AFL-CIO executive vice president Arlene Holt Baker. “We will expect tens of thousands of union families to come.”

“We are fueled by hope and not hate,” Holt Baker said."......

LOL Many union members im sure will be required to attend. And why the need to "counter" a rally that honored soldiers, honored MLK, and talked about faith, hope, charity?!

So I guess their message will be to be against soldiers, MLK, Faith, Hope, and Charity?

More power to them if they want to hold a rally. Have no idea what their message is and Im sure they dont know either. But I look forward to hearing more and seeing how "great" their rally will be.

Yeah, some how I have a feeling that they arent exactly going to be funding it with donations and personal income.

LOL at the overtime comment. Ive never dealt with unions before until recently. With my company, we do some work for a certain government owned company that has a union. And my god, if Americans had any idea on how much money is wasted. THe over time being paid to people who drag their butts and do as little as they can so they can get into overtime pay. Unbelievable.

It seems silly to me, but whatever.

It's going to be a major point now, to point out trash or little after rallies. It will be the new "thing"..watch and see.

I don't have a problem with it at all. More power to them.

Though it'll be quite interesting to see how the media will cover it.

And I found this bit, well, a little familar sounding:

And Jim Wallis, a liberal evangelical leader who is CEO of Sojourners, will lend a religious flavor to the event.
“As people of all faiths, backgrounds, beliefs, orientations and heritages, we must move this country forward beyond divisiveness and hate, to rebuild and reclaim our destiny,” Wallis said in a press release put out by the group formed to promote the rally, One Nation [COLOR=green !important][COLOR=green !important]Working

Well, only some will point it out. The media wont, unless their rally actually happens to leave the place as clean as they find it.
