Agree. This piece in The New Yorker about the Koch brothers was very informative. Talk about powerful people making various interest groups dance for them!

It's actually been that way for quite some time. The reality is the largest corporations in this country are more powerful than the United States Government. Want proof? In October 2008 the largest financial institutions in America basically told Congress "We **** up! We made bad decisions now the American People are going to give us $800 billon dollars to help us clean this mess up or else we are going let the entire U.S economy go down the tubes". Congress basically hemmed and hawed and then turned around and did exactly that the financial institutions TOLD them to do. It's one of the greatest extortion jobs in human history.

yup, Obama and Bush and Clinton, this has been going on for a long long time...and by the way, my last post was wrong, sorry, I meant the World Trade Organization which is a large group of corporate leaders from all over the world who are extremely wealthy, and they run Washington, that's why so many people call Washington puppets...and they are....why do you think everything is going global...there is huge money in this...major companies, huge corporations are taking they're companies overseas...and investing huge sums of money to do this...they hire bean counters paying them millions of dollars...to lay off people...it's pathetic....Gosh I wish we all were more informed...we all need to wake up....

So, it's a choice between the policies of high rollers Koch or Soros. Looks like they are competing with each other.
