A slightly misleading post, to say the least:

They changed the accusation from adultery to murder and the method of execution from stoning to hanging.

It's the method of stoning that was the issue, that the global public outcry may have stopped Hanging is okey-dokes in Western countries.
The "?" was for the ridiculous accusation about liberals not caring about the stoning, or human rights violations in general -- not exactly a key plank in the right wing platform.

Um, it's a given that liberals condemn stoning and other such barbaric practices. Since Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch et al. are viewed by "conservatives" as liberal outfits to be mocked and avoided, I didn't think that would need to be explained. But maybe so.
