The American Media and public is quick to complain about the heavy handed reaction of the Leaders of Middle East Countries towards the huge demonstrations. I wonder what would happen if millions of violent demonstrators rioted in Washington DC or other major cities. I suspect the US Government would do exactly what the Middle East Leaders are doing, respond violently and arrest and torture the leaders of the opposition. Especially if the protests got so large that they risked getting out of control and places like the White House or the US Capital had the potential to be attacked.

What do you think?

Remember Kent State? Maybe you are too young, but states call out the National Guard, and when things get out of control, the soldiers fire upon the demonstrators. It has happened before in the US, and can likely happen again. Two links; one for Kent State and one for the Whiskey Rebellion.

US Northern Command, Canada and Mexico are even now prepared and expecting it. The pretext is food riots and civil disorder with the Gov'ts of Canada/Mexico and numerous other countries England, France, Germany, Belgium to name a few willing to send in their troops to "help" restore and keep order. Its been planned for and exercises continue at record numbers to get ready for martial law and military Op's against the civilians of America. Some scenario's say as early as this summer.

The riots would be orchestrated by the unions including Obama's constant companions Trumpka and Stern. Obama, Holder could turn them off and on at will.

The rest of us won't riot.

I see protests more along the lines of Greece and the other EU nations by workers wanting their rights and pay.

The government would order the broadcast networks to lengthen the showtimes of Glee, American Idol and Dancing with the Stars to entice Americans to sit back down on the couch instead of riot.
