I cant find the interview that your talking about however this thread was 10 on my Google search "Rangel interview" last 24 hrs.
To be honest on Rangel, what happens in the ethics community remains to be seen but he is the best answer for Harlem. He is well liked, knows the community and their needs.
The Area needs a Democrat to represent them because they offer the type of support that it needs. A republican in office from Harlem would only be covered in constant opposition.
While it will be better for the whole Union to have a Republican Congress and or Senate areas such as Harlem need to keep a representative that knows them and they trust, and apparently they trust him.
