Not making up anything. I'm taking John Jay at his word. John Jay's letter is the origination of the 'natural born citizen' clause in the Constitution. It precludes foreigners from eligibility. Obama was born a foreign citizen.

Incorrect. SCOTUS disagrees with you. Read Minor v. Happersett. Natural born citizen requires 2 US citizen parents.

John Jay's letters don't have any precedential value, and, as has been explained to you ad nauseam, things have changed quite a bit since his time, legally speaking.

You and the other Birfers are flogging a greasy spot that once held the remains of a horse.

If only you would put such obsessive effort into something worthwhile, like feeding to homeless or curing cancer, we'd all be a lot better off.

(But not quite as amused at your comic antics).

The U.S. Supreme Court is not dumbstruck with staring at decisis.

"The doctrine of stare decisis is not always to be relied upon, for the courts find it necessary to overrule cases which have been hastily decided, or contrary to principle."

You'd like to think that, but unfortunately for you there's actually a SCOTUS ruling precedent that states a requirement of having 2 US citizen parents to be a natural born citizen: Minor v. Happersett.

No, but he could quite possibly be a Natural Born Interloper.

That's just as good, isn't it?

The Constitution's natural born citizen requirement has not changed at all since Jay's time. There have been no amendments changing that requirement.

Again, review Minor v. Happersett for the SCOTUS determination of natural born citizen. It takes 2 US citizen parents. Obama had only one.

Dual citizens are not foreigners. They are dual citizens.

This link states that the case was about Women's sufferage.
