All of obama's problems, failures and broken promises are somebody elses fault. The voters just don't understand the complexities of his arguments, and the nuance of his speeches, let along the massive intrusion into our lives from the legislation he has passed.

PostPartisan - Obama's view from Olympus

President Obama's latest interview with Rolling Stone magazine is revealing precisely because it is so typical. Everyone -- really just about everyone in American politics -- is chided, challenged, instructed, judged or admonished in one way or another. The president's condescension is universal.
Yes, how did we make it all these years without your lectures?

What a way to "inspire" your base - keep it up, please.

Of course it can't be him or his policies...it is everyone else who is to blame.

Hmmm,sounds like most leftists.

I remember watching his interview with Bill O'Reilly during the campaign. When asked about the success if the surge (which he had soundly opposed), Obama could not, absolutely would not say "I was wrong". Skirted around it, plenty of rhetoric...but could not bring himself to admit that he was wrong.

This is a man who truly cannot see his own faults or errors. It's poor character, poor leadership.

I'd be really interested in hearing--with specifics and the documentation to back it up--just what you think Obama's problems, failures and broken promises are? I'm not talking about a rant without facts--I'd like to hear a serious and specific discussion of just "what you think he should have done when" in the year and a half he's been in office, given the circumstances he was in on January 20, 2009.

Without going into to many specifics, the best course of action he could have taken would have been to listen to the thoughts and advice of people with different ideas than those he proclaimed. Riding roughshod over others is never the formula for success (ie Obamacare).

Btw, and this is my opinion, when he took office he should have declared that he owned the situation, not keep trying to lay the blame on others. As president, he had the power. Those that he wants to blame have no power.

Obama fails.

Other than apparently making you obsessed with bashing him, exactly how has he intruded in your life?

LOL, exactly my thoughts when I read the OP. Somebody loves somebody ~ Don't wait for an answer, because it's not forthcoming.

I don't give a hoot about his views from the WH, nevermind anywhere else! His problems stem from lack of experience, and knowing how to handle criticism against him or his views. He lashes out like a baby, has to get the last word in, on why someone is not agreeing with him. He will bully you if you fail to agree with him, can you not see this, it is plain as day. This Man was not Ready to Promise us HOPE AND CHANGE as he did, because this is not what so many signed him in for. This is not no great Hope and definitely not the Change most who voted for him, wanted. This is what happens when you let the media cloud your thinking for you.

Obama fails.
Exactly.

The cause behind our economic problems today, are many and they are complicated. Some of our problems started in the 1990s when our government repealed banking and investment regulations and opened up free world trade. The changes that occurred to our financial system were not easy to define, and government was slow to respond to the warning signals. No single political figure or party caused all our problems, it was our government, the congress the senate and the executive branch that changed regulations and did not provide proper oversight. Our country is being adversely affected, and nothing gets fixed, and the woes to our citizens do not become lessened when our elected representatives in government claim it's not personally their fault.

Right out of the chute, 0bama refused to take the leadership role as our president. Instead he acted like he just flew in from planer Mars, and he continually complained that he inherited the economy, which translates to: "If the economy does not improve it's not my fault". He was acting like a fire chief who shows up on the scene of a garage fire, and as the fire takes over the house he stomps around angrily complaining "I didn't start the fire", and as the fire spread throughout the neighborhood, he shouts at the newspaper reporters "The fire was started before I even got here!"

The first thing our president can do, is stop freaking complaining all the damn time. If he was the football coach of a last place team, or the CEO of a failing company, and he complained and whined this much, he'd be handed his hat and asked to leave town.
