It was perfectly acceptable for those who did not like other Presidents, to call them jackass and other names and this is ok please, give me a break, why the free pass for obama, when he is one .Not trying to be mean here, this is what i feel, he was not experienced enough to handle this job, he has bully tactics, when someone disagrees with him. Healthcare bill sucked, not wild about his stimulus package, we still are in crisis, with jobs, economically, we are not doing well, and one of the worse housing crisis is still going on strong. No one to blame but our Sitting President, and don't make excuses for him please!
These threads always crack me up and remind me of a series of lines from the movie "Private Parts" about the life of Howard Stern
Rush, like every other political shock jock is just another Howard Stern with similar fans
I don't really care what Rush says anymore, because I expect it to be ugly and it all runs together, BUT....
You almost have to listen to him, because he's one of the major leaders of the republican party. Sad isn't it, that we've gone down to that level? I was an R for 45 years--I'm horrified by the whole situation. There are no R leaders in office anymore--it's Rush, Glenn, and "lock and load" Sarah. Who are people supposed to look to--John Boehner? Where's the vision, beyond "cut taxes," "no government" and just "no?" No one seems to be able to expand on issues beyond that, so we're left with Rush. I've never wanted to listen to him--he's vulgar. Nice...
You would have to be dim witted to listen to Rush on a daily basis. His show is so predictable,he will bash Obama and the {D}s and talk about him self. His show puts me to sleep because it usually lacks any sign of intellectual content.

WOw! Becauase there are no Democrats out their doing the same thing to Republicans! LOL I love listening to Rush - and especially love how he makes the liberals crazy(er).

I'm not all that liberal, but he doesn't make me crazy--he makes me sad. It's easy to get up and bluster and blow, throw insults, and not really say anything of substance. He IS a shock jock--if that was his only role, it would be fine, and actually pretty funny. The problem is, because there's a leadership vacuum in the R's, he's become one of the major leaders. I don't think it's a good situation for anyone when a major party develops most of their positions based on what an entertainer says, vs. an actual elected official. That's the problem though--there are no leaders, outside of Rush and his friends, in the R party right now. They've elected the class clown to the position of class president by default. That's scary stuff.
