I thought Bill handled himself quite well even when the resident battleax of the view, Joy Bahar went on the attack. She reminds me of a petulent child. When she and the Whoopster walked off the set Barbara let them know exactly how she felt about it.
Then, although no one asked them to they made their way back to the stage. I liked it better with their seats empty. Then Joy sat down and acted like the immature sullen child she is. It was painful to watch and I was embarrassed for her.

I agree, she sat there sulking for the rest of the segment with him, and Whoopi was eyeing him with looks that could kill. Barbara was totally right, even if you disagree with him, it was totally unprofessional.
Just the fact that they couldn't even be tolerant enough to allow Bill to get his opinion out about the Mosque at Ground Zero, they got hung up on the nomenclature he used "Muslim" vs. "Extremist".
Oh God, I feel bad for Bill. I think his opinion was clearly wrong, but he tried to keep the debate civil and people talked over him. Barbara Walters was absolutely the voice of reason here.
The show's name is says it all, "The View". Not views but only the view from the left. They won't even show enough courtesy to here another opinion.
Just what Megyn Kelly said on her Fox show today. She said that they call their show The View, but that they insist that only their view be discussed and walk off when anyone with a different view tries to make their view known. I do not like O'Reilly but this time I was on his side. I will certainly watch him this evening since he will surely show the whole thing and then discuss it. I don't watch The View because those cry babies are such a huge part of it.
