Respect is an admirable trait and a good song though.
Last time I checked respect doesn't work well to protect your feet while walking and nobody's fever ever went down because you respected them a little more. Money and labor is how you get things done and in both aspects Conservatives give more than liberals.

What other qualifications would you like to use?

Well, since they can't use time..or blood..or money...it's now about respect. You know, affording others the same respect you show your friends and family-that's the liberal's definition of compassion.

You remember the respect given to Bush? Palin? Yeah, they're all about compassion.

Why don't you just rewrite the dictionary to make everything mean what you think it should, that would be the liberal thing to do wouldn't it?
In other words.................................

Aww, some people felt compassion for Bush and Palin both.

Liberals certainly do commit time, blood and money to help others. Don't lie. Good heavens.

Of course. Some are even so gracious as to throw their trash out the window to give someone a job of picking it up. Others build mounds of dirt so someone has to "shovel" it back to grade or below grade so they can create more jobs.

Yes they're busy little bees.

If you're very good, tomorrow night I'll tell you the story of emperor Claudius who was betrayed by those closest to him, by his own blood. They whispered in dark corners and went out late at night and conspired and conspired but the emperor Claudius knew they were up to something. He knew they were busy little bees. And one night he sat down with one of them and he looked at her and he said, "Tell me what you've been doing busy little bee or I shall strike down those dearest to you. You shall watch as I bathe in their blood." And the emperor was heartbroken. The little bee had wounded him more deeply than anyone else could ever have done. And what do you think happened then, Lucius?

Reminds me of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Producers_(1968_film)

Leo: You're gonna jump on me! I know you're gonna jump on me! Like Nero jumped on Poppea!

Max: Who?!

Leo: Poppea! She was his wife! And she was unfaithful to him! And he got mad, and he jumped on her! Up and down, up and down until he squashed her like a bug! PLEASE don't jump on me!

Max: (jumping) I'm NOT GONNA JUMP ON YOU!

Leo: Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!
