Wait, I thought Dems already passed all of those job creation bills, now you need Repubs to work with the WH to pass bills which already worked?

Considering the lack of success with Democratic policies, I dont think Repubs will be foolish enough to join in with the WH to pass failed policies. You can support bad policies if you wish, but I for one expect results, not excuses..

Where was this Democratic outreach to Republicans for the last 2 years? Now all of a sudden you expect Republicans to bend over and take it, even though they are the winners? Please.. thats not how it works..
What are there, 300-400 bills passed by House sitting in Senate. How many of those are jobs bills, quite a few. What have the Repubs seen fit to allow a discussion on, maybe 2 of them and they got passed. Don't pretend you do not know what has been going on in the Senate and why.

I expect the recovery to continue with, or without the interference from Congress.

I am glad the GOP top agenda is to fight symbolic fights to repeal heatlh care, wall street reform repel etc. It will keep them busy with each other and give the country a chance to recover.

We had the cuts the past 2 years (10 actually), and it didn't help too much. You think one more year will make a difference?

Yes.. A drop from 9.7% to 9.6% over 10 months is very impressive.

While we are at it, exactly how will the Republicans decrease the deficit if they make the tax cuts permanent? What will be cut? Please be specific. Also remember that the biggest government costs are for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans, and defense.
nothing will happen

good bills will die in the dumbocrat senate, or barrack "who cares about jobs, let's just follow the clinton/bush rules" obama will veto anything the repubs suggest

I think they ought to set a goal of creating a million jobs per day to show Obama how it's done.

Only companies can create jobs. The only jobs the government can create are more government jobs.

Don't wait for Uncle Sam to find you a job; go out and find one yourself.
Congress needs to work on the deficit and our endless spending because

WE HAVE NO MONEY TO SPEND
