The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund today announced that more openly LGBT candidates won election to public office in the U.S. in 2010 than in any year in America’s history.

At least 106 of the group’s record-breaking 164 endorsed candidates were winners as of Wednesday morning, including Providence, R.I., Mayor David Cicilline, who will become the fourth openly gay Member of Congress when the House convenes in January.

I guess this news will make the anti-gay crowd angry. Oh well.

I didn't realize there was a "gay" party.

Typical responses from anti-gay types. Any more?

For a group that prides itself on preaching equality, they sure like to be identified.

Wow, look at this;

» Exit Polling Shows Gay Voters Played Important Role in Republican Victories in the U.S. House

Quote:
According to CNN, 31% of self-identified gay voters supported Republican candidates for the U.S. House. “Exit polling makes it clear gay voters played an important role in bringing conservative leadership to Congress,” said Jimmy LaSalvia, Executive Director of GOProud, the only national organization representing gay conservatives and their allies. “It also proves something we have been saying for months now – that the Tea Party’s message of limiting government is something that appeals to many gay Americans.”
Cool.

Tent expansion.

the points is:

who gives a **** if they're gay?

If someone calls out a gay person for being "different", there is hell to pay.

This article is calling out gays for being different and its applauded?

I guess its okay to pick and choose when its alright to be singled out.

They are probably gay turncoats. Just because you are gay doesn't mean you care about the gay community. When you work in The Whitehouse or in "office" the gays are the least of your priorities. That's obvious.
