We've had a FIRE economy for quite some time.
The I is bust.
The RE is bust.
The F is spiraling out of control but it seems they won't go down without a fight.

When you dip your toes into Wall Street these days the best you can hope is to ride the coat tails of the HFT's. The market has been taken over by computers owned by the banksters.
And the name of the game is the fastest computer and the best algorithm.
Company fundamentals mean absolutely 0 to HFT's.
