Norads job is to protect the 'seaboard' from FOREIGN missile invaders
if a russian, or cuban missile had been coming in norad would have taken care of it. this was a airplane from within CONUS (not OCONUS..you do know the difference, dont you????)
do you WANT norad to 'shoot' down every flight????? if so, then say goodby the the airline industry
