Because these trials are fair trials and not show trials where the outcome is predetermined!
That's vile, creepy right wing ideology for you! They are against fair trials now.
It was a civilian jury that heard the evidence........but that's not good enough for haters.....they really just want to skip the trial and go straight to the death penalty.
What a shining example of America they are setting!
We should go straight to the death penalty in the case of this guy. I'd watch his hanging while eating popcorn. If they let me I'd pull the lever too. Planning to murder dozens of people deserves execution. PERIOD.
What are we doing trying a foreigner for a crime done in another country? That hotel was not US territory. The accused should be being tried where the crime was committed.
The entire GITMO operation is one of the most shameful things we have ever done. It was completely extra legal and a massive violation of our basic principles.
These operations threaten Americans more than anyone else. Allowing a government to use warrantless detainment, torture and mock trials on political enemies opens the door for the government to accuse me or sanrene of threatening the government. I do not know of anyone that thinks that is a good idea.
Thanks to you that we citizens here can be throw in behind bar because of government can charge us conspiracy to blow up a government building without warrant, and without evident.
Honestly, have you or anyone who support big government think why we get "terrorist" whenever the government want to increase it's power?
Huh? This is indecipherable.

The guy confessed to the crime. The name of the witness, who was all set to testify about Ghailani's role in the bombing, came FROM Ghailani.
Is there any better proof that Team Obama's preferred approach to fight ing terror -- through civilian courts -- is dangerously misguided than yesterday's acquittal of one of the 1998 US embassy bombers on all but one of 285 charges?
He was up to his ears in a plot that took 224 lives, and he's not a terrorist?

The very definition of a mock trial is what obama and holder are engaged in. If acquitted, they don't walk they are re-arrested and detained...indefinitely.
Do you dispute they said this?
What do you think of the mock trial, dog and pony show from obama and holder?
I guess you MUST think obama and holder are the poster boys of UN-American then....right? I mean, there couldn't be any other conclusion based on your post above, right?
EPIC, CLASSIC, FAIL.
I see there is still no answer to these facts about mock trials. Is it that difficult to admit that is exactly what obama/holder are doing with these trials? The proof comes straight from their own mouths.
A jury of American citizens who upon hearing the evidence voted to find him not guilty on , yet others who never even walked by the court house, much less observed the trial, feel that they are competent to comment on his guilt or innocence. How strange.
What? You're upset it wasn't a kangaroo court or something?
