I hope our troops can put it to good use. It's disappointing to read about it's range limitations. 700 meters is less than half the effective range of a .50 sniper rifle. It wouldn't reach out and touch someone in many of the engagements in the open terrain of Afganistan, but might well change the rules in urban areas.
