Dem. are talking like pork is not bad...

Being Jewish made me aware that pork isn't healthy.......btw muslims don't eat pork either so the rest could be more healthy if they stop using pork too...

They can pass a continuing resolution to take this up in January.

Hey, the dems had control when this was suppose to be done in October, so why rush it now?
The could not get past the Repubs blocking of anything coming up for discussion.

SOME PORK????

Have you even taken the time to get the facts?

6600 pork projects is all.
I looked at all the items in the list. Many are funding for existing programs, and some are funding of things that need to be done. Just because it doesn't benefit you, doesn't make it bad.

Why do we even bother to elect them, if the are not going to do things for the region they represent.

"Senate Democrats abruptly pulled down an omnibus spending bill after senior Republicans – caught with their hands in the cookie jar — deserted the measure in an effort to square themselves with tea party activists"

A few pulled out as it seems they were catching lots of flak from the pork and earmarks they were adding from the tea party voters that supported them.

"McConnell Thursday sought to regain his footing by drawing a stark contrast with his one-page “clean” substitute. Left unsaid is that he encouraged the omnibus effort before the election and that, even after Nov. 2, McConnell continued to hedge his bets, never taking out his estimated $112.8 million in spending earmarks, nor pulling back old friends on the Senate Appropriations Committee working on behalf of the measure.
He and many other Republicans, who also left their earmarks in the omnibus, are now scrambling to separate themselves from their handiwork. Thursday brought McConnell’s second Claude Rains “Casablanca” moment of the week, when he essentially expressed shock that there’s gambling in Rick’s Café.

Looks like Reid was shaking the piggy bank to see who would come running to feed their cronies. Reid just pulled the biggest "GOTCHA!" I think i've ever seen.

No Gotcha.

It's more of

Sorry Harry you LOST.

So you are now saying that Harry Reid was playing games?

How nice of you to point this out.

No wonder the people booted the dems OUT.

Still waiting on the 6000 republican ( out of 6600 ) pork project in this bill like you said were in it.

Even if it does not get voted on, lets see you prove your assumptions now.
