Someone tell me, what did the poor and the unwilling to be responsible for themselves do to deserve their handouts? What did they do to deserve wealth redistribution? What did a homeowner who couldn't afford their house to begin with do to deserve to stay in the house and not have it foreclosed on? Is this the most hypocrtical thing ever or what?

Seems Barney Frank has an intellectual dishonesty thing going on. If Barney Frank thinks people are only entitled to money because they've done something to deserve it, Barney Frank would then also have to support the abolishment of welfare, medicaid, unemployment, etc.

I agree. These wackos like Frank, can't even have a solid argument for anything. They are nothing more than sissie hypocrits that want want want, no matter who it hurts or helps.

You mean those who "didn't do anything to deserve it." Hint, hint, Barney Frank.

I agree with him, letting fortunes to one's children is like letting privileges, thus wrong in my view. I even think every child and young adult should start out at more or less the same material level, i.e. without a fortune expecting him or her at a certain age.

Ok Comrade Mao, we know how you think. Answer the question, what did the poor do to deserve what they get? What did a person irresponsible enough to buy a house they couldn't afford do to deserve getting bailed out of that?

so to the "double taxation" crowd, riddle me this:

we obviously need some taxes, so why is income tax considered 'acceptable' to tax, but estate/death taxes are not?

what is it about estate taxes that constitute "unfair redistribution of wealth" and "double taxation", that don't apply to all other taxes?
