It's simple, we either trade with China or we don't. Once our government becomes trade partners with another country we have already made a statement. Complaining after the fact, is like getting in a car with someone you know is drunk, and then nitpicking them about their erratic driving.

Obama will not bite the hand that feeds us. Our economy is so Inextricably intertwined with that of China that he won't do anything that would give China the slightest reason to reconsider its position. Although much if not most of the blame for our indebtedness to China can be laid at the feet of our government and also the major manufacturing companies, we as consumers must accept some of the blame. As long as our primary goal is to get the most for less and that usually means buying goods made in China, then we can blame ourselves for this ever-increasing dependence on China. If we were really concerned about this terrible trade imbalance and sending our dollars to China then it would require that we started to insist that goods we buy were made in the U.S., regardless of the cost. This would be a win-win for us: eventually companies would realize that if they wanted to compete for the US market they would have to produce in this country. That in turn would return all those lost manufacturing jobs to us at time that we desperately need them. Then, competition for consumers would eventually drive prices down. So although initially it would cost us more to buy American goods, in the end we would see those prices drop (rather like removing a band-aid, it hurts in the beginning but...). But Obama and many others are unable to see the "big picture" and do what's right for the long haul so he'll be puckering up in the White House this week.

The Politburo knows its days are numbered. A lot of us will live to see China turn into a democratic country, it will be interesting to see if China as a nation will fall apart then.

hussein obama has spent his life worshiping murdering dictators like Mao who is said to have killed 70 million. He even had images of Mao decorating his Christams tree last year.

The lefties always try to portray themselves as the people who care about human rights and freedom but they are the first to support and extend a welcome hand to the worst of the worst human rights violators. Che is another murdering pig and hero to the liberals.

America should never have done any business with this communist country from the beginning and I would not hold your breath for any sympathy from the peace loving left or hussein obama.

The Democrats are full of communists, marxists and socialist now so they will not see a country with the same beliefs as the enemy. China was and always will be Amerca's enemy.

So, do you walk the walk? Is your house 100% free of any Chinese made products? Or do you just blather the blather?
