Why do you think the cost of health care is so high, its cuz of all the free care that people are already getting now.

You don't have to now..so whats the difference....

And no, you negotiate....You can always pay something....

Whats not fair, is if I decide I don't want insurance, I have to pay a fine...

Oh right .... so you have had an accident ... you are laying in the middle of the road with you leg broken in several places. Who are you going to negotiate with? The paramedics, the ambulance driver? Nope you are going to accept treatment and if you cannot pay all of it you will be happy for the taxpayer and those who do pay for insurance to pick up the difference. Its called "freeloading"

Actually similar, but use VA for my primary care needs and Medicare Advantage for scripts. I pay some VA copays and 0 for the Medicare Advantage. I too have paid my dues.

I really hope people don't think like you....really...

You will be given care, no matter the situation....

So, please tell me what obama care will do? Will it make a difference? Lets say obama care is fully implemented...and I still decide not to take insurance, I pay the yearly fine....and get in a wreck, same wreck as you stated above...with no insurance mind you....what happens then? Will I be denied care?
