I notice no one on this thread has even attempted to tackle the OP. Why is that? Is it because you'd rather rehash past Presidential behavior instead of holding your current President accountable for his anti-business attitude?

Businesses are not hiring because this Administration has not bestowed any confidence in the business sector. It's not hard to figure this out. Ask any prudent businessperson out there.

You can shoot the messenger, or you can tackle the issues. So far, not one single liberal in this thread has even attempted to tackle the issue at hand - this President is not good for business.

When will you admit that you've been schellacked by the Shellacker In Chief?

The "moratorium" did more damage here than the spill.

Google W's broken promises; then google Clinton's broken promises, then google hw's broken promises, and keep on going. You'll find that promises are broken for the same reasons. The President is not dictator and he relies on 500 plus people to help keep his promises. And campaigning is a lot different than the actual job. .
So, can I count on your support to do away with presidential campaigns/speechmaking/promise advertising and just vote based on their record of accomplishments and experience?

I wouldn't call him anti business , but he should call on business to ante up some of that wealth he helped them make.

Very well said!

The lefties are sheeple blindly following their 'messiah' and refuse to believe anything bad about him. It is really pathetic.

They will continue to deflect blame away from Obummer and all of his cronies as they learned to do from birth. Blaming past reublican Presidents for the faults of their leaders is something that is passed on from generation to generation among them.

Obummer goes beyond anti-business.....he is flat out anti-America!

Peple really need to take a step back and see the bigger picture here. Where do we start....

- Obama goes to Cairo to disparage America.
- The radical left gets into bed with the Muslim Brotherhood in the ME.
- Obama declares a drilling moratorium.
- The radical left has a Democracy "fill in the blank" gathering in Cairo where they stoked the flames of revolution and spread their Social Justice crap.
- Egypt is in full revolution
- Muslim Brotherhood will ultimately end up with power.
- Islamification will put a stanglehold on the canals to drive oil prices up and cause chaos in the west.
- We can't drill for our own resources to lower the prices.
- America turns into chaos.

This is what is going on. Any free thinker can see it. The left is ALL for it, they share the same goals as the radical Islamists. Destroy the Western way of life.

Another thing the liberals won't report on is this administrations 'Land Grab'

Just what could Barry Soetoro (a.k.a. Barack Hussein Obama)
be up to

Moonbattery: Obama Plans Massive Land Grab

Warning Signs: Obama's Land Grab Nightmare

Michelle Malkin: The great Obama land grab | Michelle Malkin | Op Eds | Washington Examiner (http://washingtonexaminer.com/node/467931 - broken link)

"I promise 100% transparency in my administration."

"I promise NO NEW TAXES on a family making less than $250K a year."

"I will allow 5 days of public comment before I sign any bills."

"I will remove earmarks for PORK projects before I sign any bill."

"I will end Income Tax for seniors making less than $50K a year"

"I'll put the Health Care negotiations on CSPAN so everyone can see who is at the table!"

"I'll have no lobbyists in my administration"

His Character and his Policies have dictated his fate
not even the 'MISGUIDED' liberals like being lied to

Drilling in the Gulf isn't the answer.

Let's see, the big brain knows that East Texas Sour (an intermediate high-sulfur grade oil) runs right up to the coast, and Louisiana Sour (a light high-sulfur grade oil) is, well, in the Gulf.

So you're going to drill for what, exactly? A light sweet oil? Sorry, dream on.

A sweet intermediate? You'll need a good supply of psychedelic mushrooms for that.

You have only one refinery in the entire US that refines light sour, and that's the Exxon-Mobil facility in Pascagoula. It won't be able to handle any more light sour, so you'll have to build a brand new refinery.

Good luck with that, and if you have good luck, maybe it will actually be in operation 20 years from now.

Do you have any idea how capital intensive the oil and natural gas infrastructure is?

Aren't you the one always whining about the lack of manufacturing in the US?

Don't you see an inherent problem here? It's like fish or cut bait: do you dump capital into manufacturing or capital into natural gas/oil?

No doubt you're completely ignorant of the raging disputes in O Canada! The oil and gas operations are sucking capital dry and they are starting to lose manufacturing and have no capital for new manufacturing.
