Thomas More Law Center Appeals Conviction of Young Christian Missionary Arrested at Dearborn Arab Festival

"Robert Muise, TMLC’s Senior Trial Counsel who is handling the matter, stated, “The arresting officer’s actions and the actions of the Dearborn police department are textbook examples of civil rights violations of the highest order. Consequently, when a conviction is based on the actions of a police officer that violate fundamental constitutional rights, as in this case, that conviction must be reversed, lest our constitutional freedoms be rendered meaningless platitudes subject to the will of police officials.”

What's going on in Dearborn Michigan?
I think this paragraph from the link you provided sums it up nicely;

Dearborn is considered home to the largest Muslim population in America. As a result, many City officials, including the Mayor, engage in official action solely to please this significant voting bloc. In this case, police effectively replaced our constitutional guarantees of Free Speech with Sharia law, which forbids Christians to proselytize Muslims.

It has more to do with our current police state than with muslims. "Failure to obey"? What a crock of ****. Since when did a video camera become a cops worst enemy? Or even against the law for that matter.

Being arrested is one thing but then being convicted is unbelievable.

Is it time for a massive Christian convention in Dearbornistan? Nothing could be worse for this country then letting muslims get a foothold anywhere.

Did you see that video about this incident? The men were allowed to go several blocks away from the festival and hand out their literature, but they had no desire to do so because it was out of the Muslim district.

I agree that what happened is very well stated in that link. This is going on and the reasons are listed and yet we have all kinds of left leaners talking about how Sharia can never happen here.

I think it's time for a good old-fashioned Baptist Revival in Dearbornistan. Hey, I'm a Jew but I might even attend!

Oh one of your "tribe" got the wrong end of the stick?

Quick!....Everybody grab their civil liberties signs and pretend like conservatives care about civil liberties for people they don't sympathize with.

For your information the USA had a US citizen (teenager) tortured in a Kuwaiti jail last Month and you couldn't give a damn. Not that you even knew.

Well then it must be a Christian and Jewish convention.
