As long as he stays long enough so the Islamic Brotherhood has no shot at taking over the country it's all good IMO.
We don't need a terrorist Egypt.

I wish they could hurry up and have democratic elections. Who know what will have happened by election time in September. The Brotherhood will have had more time to gain followers, raise money or whatever else they may need to do. Nature abhors a vacuum.

I clicked on that link and a reporter (via live feed/Twitter) is saying that the state tv had retracted that statement.

LOL!!! that is because Mubarak has asserted his iron fist yet again and is beating down the protesters in a show of force and love and democracy and all things light and wonderful. Just the sort of thing we in America support. Now where are the journalist, shouldn't someone be torturing them? After all, Egypt is the destination for most rendition flights other than Afghanistan.

As much as I think his time has come, I hope he lasts until the election in Sept. and I hope our Pres learns to publically keep his mouth shut. Egypt is one of our few true allies in that region for heavens sake.

This made me laugh out loud: "in a show of force and love and democracy and all things light and wonderful, etc..."
