If you want to see hypocrites (which BTW has an 'E'), you need only look at those on the right who championed fighting to bring democracy to the ISLAMIC state of Iraq who then turn around and tell us Islam is the scourge of the earth.

So tell us, WHY is fighting FOR the scourge of the earth a good thing?

And just in case someone wants to return, even briefly, to the OP: exacty what does Peter King have in common with Tailgunner Joe, and how do the McCarthy hearings, focused as they were on supposed Communist infiltration of the State Department, and characterized as they were by blacklisting and smearing inocent civilians, resemble the perfectly legitimate investigation into the radicalization of young Muslims both overseas and within the United States -- a radicalization which has cost thousands of American lives and which no one in his or her right mind believes for a moment has run its course?
