I tried to include 3 articles. It Just popped up on my google news alerts
The employee was interview by mediamatters, (yes I know they are liberal...)
Just posting it as it's a good read and probably wont surprise anyone.
Here are some claims..From the rawstory site
Quote:
Fox News Washington Managing Editor Bill Sammon told his staff to downplay the importance of climate science that showed the globe's average temperature getting warmer.
Perhaps not coincidentally, a poll gauging public trust in TV news found that PBS was the most trusted name in news, while trust in Fox News dropped significantly over the last year.
I don't know why you bothered to post this unless it was to feed the trools agaisnt Fox. Anyone with half a brain does not believe liberals or disgruntled employees.
Those two claims are far from anything made up. Downplaying the importance of climate change is a good thing. It is not proven that man is causing it and there are more important things to worry about right now. Rebranding the public option to Government run option is no biggie as well, it means the same thing. Besides none of what is talked about in the article is actually newsworthy. All news outlets have a slant, they ALL do exactly what FOX is doing.
"We Report. You Decide". Oh yeah? Well, I decided it was crap and went elsewhere.
The first link had this item in its comments section:
11:41AM FoxNews consultant watching the celebrating crowds in Egypt...says on the tv "this reminds me of when I worked for the Reagan Admin and the Berlin Wall came down, we sent advisors to various nations telling them......" well ms. Reagan staffer....Reagan had already left office and was in his mansion in CA when the Berlin Wall fell. THEY JUST MAKE THIS STUFF UP
That's the real issue--is the employee making the claims credible or not. It doesn't matter who reports it if it's true. I'm thinking this is going to be hashed out one way or another. I'm not saying it's the truth, but the standard line on whistle blowers is to call them a "disgruntled employee." We'll see.
