The Nazis supported the fascists in Spain, hoping that Franco would help them out. Their hopes were in vain. Meanwhile, England, under the Conservative Party leader, Winston Churchill, held the line against the Nazis until the US quit dithering and took up the fight.

In addition, the world's Communists and Progressives, including those in the US, had a love affair with Hitler following the enactment of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact that lasted until the Nazis stabbed Stalin in the back and invaded Russia, when the pinks had to spin 180 degrees and become anti-Fascists. Study your history. Get your facts straight.

Applying current-day political labels to the world of 1939 is insulting to anyone with an ounce of historical knowledge. It also is an insult to the millions of Americans, liberal AND conservative, who went to war and defeated the Axis powers.

But it sure would be good for Mexico.

The way our government has bent over for the illegals, theyd be the major beneficiaries of UHC. Anchor babies deleivered at taxpayer expense. Caramba!

Speaking of Mexico, maybe we could pave their roads, too. It's only fair. They send us their unemployed and we let them take over our government.

What a damn nuthouse.

It would be more accurate to say that health care is a right to every citizen in the deveoped world. Except Americans.

Seriously, if you want it move to Europe or Canada.
Surely you can see the glaring problems with US health? Its not "free" in Australia, we're well aware of that.

This is something the previous government identified, and introduced the 30% rebate on private health insurance, if earning over $70k... For every year over 31, that 30% rebate reduces.

I have private health insurance, that costs me $1500 per year.

As well as paying 1% of income into health insurance.

Don't have a problem with this.

You have other countries paying $10 or more a gallon for gas because most of that gas costs goes to Socialized medicine. Huge percentages of salaries in other places also go to paying for this kind of expensive care.
Another reason why their prices are so high is because public transportation is king over there.
