On either side of the fence, I think. I believe that it happens all the time on both sides.
All we can go off of is who gets caught. If Ailes did this, it doesn't bode well for FOX's future.
Fox news serves a need in this country, that of a counterweight to the mainstream press. If the mainstream press was actually unbiased, we wouldn't need fox news. I believe they'll survive.
You might be right there, because I think a chunk of their regular viewers just won't care if Ailes is proved to have tried to illegally influence an election by telling an employee to lie to federal investigators. Some however, will care. It does kind of take the steam out of the "fair and balanced" claim, don't you think?
