The obots are out in force since hussein obama put his shills on CD.
This sounds an awful lot like a Glenn Beck show. Communist, Obama, Soros and Trumpka all in one sentence. Yep, that is a Glenn Beck show.

How do you advance "corporatism" when it comes to PUBLIC SERVICE??? The Wisconsin issue ONLY has to do with govt workers and the taxpayers. This has ZERO to do with the relationship between private sector workers and their employers.

Casper
At this point, I'd say we'd better hope and pray they've underestimated the American people.

Yes, that is it. The Koch Brothers are in league with Dr. Evil and Goldfinger to bring down the US by restoring fiscal sanity.

When the budget is balanced and the debt is down, Americans, used to irrational government spending, will revolt and destroy the nation.

It is a clever, yet sinister plan.

Busting unions has nothing to do with the budget (especially if the unions are taking the concessions needed to balance it) and everything to do with eliminating the only real block of strong financial support left for the democrats, and the only voice left for the middle class. Public employees didn't make this mess--it was made on wallstreet--but they're taking all the heat while those guys are being allowed to get huge bonuses. In the last elections, out of the 10 top campaign funding groups, 7 were corporations or corporate front groups funding right wing republicans, and three were labor unions supporting democrats. I'm a small business owner--I don't want to live in a country where campaigns are bought and sold by big business america. You can yell and scream all you want about unions being the problem, but it doesn't make it true. I'm hoping the American people are waking up and saying enough is enough--the new, very radical R's have gone too far this time.

This is only "busting unions" for federal and state employees. Even FDR opposed federal and state unions.

When state and federal unions bargain "collectively", there is no ability on the part of their employers, the citizens, to bargain with them. If collective bargaining is to continue for these workers, we should be able to vote on their salaries and benefits. That would be fair bargaining. Otherwise, we, as thier employers and the ones that pay thier salaries, have no place at the table.

Ban federal and state unions.

Do you get to vote on the salaries of administrators who aren't part of the union? No. Your place at the table is through the people that you elect to represent you.

I grew up in a republican family with a teacher mom/farmer dad, and now my sibs are all teachers, farmers, or both. You're failing to recognize that not all union members are democrats--there are more republicans than you think. They're ticked off about the union busting too.

There are lots of people in this country, R's and D's alike--who know it's complete and total BS to blame unionized public workers for the mess these states are in--that mess was created by dumping the regulations on banks and wallstreet that allowed them to take excessive risk with our money (if you want to quote FDR--why don't you start there?) Those guys are getting huge bonuses for ruining this country, and the new batch of radical R's (not the more moderate ones) are trying to take it out on public workers. The unions are willing to work with the states to take concessions to get through the budget crisis. The argument that it impacts budget negotiations down the road is ridiculous--no agreements are made that don't have both sides signing off on them. This entire ploy is just an attempt to put a radical conservative agenda in place in this country that destroys the voice of middle class people. It looks like the American people are starting to fight back.

I don't see any of the people in your post's trying to deny people the right to collectively bargain which has been established a right for people in this country.
