Back to the greedy 50K teacher stuff? Why did you desert that thread?

I suppose you could ask Obama why he increased the number of troops there at such a high cost that helped contribute to our huge deficit.

I'm a Tea Party supporter, I fully support cutting defense spending across the board and want our troops pulled out of the middle east and all other countries as soon as reasonably possible (a lot faster than Obama is doing anything). I also want teachers to pay reasonable amounts of their own retirements, health benefits and other things like that just like all non-union workers do all over this country. I want realistic COL increases in pay which means if the COL doesn't go up they don't get a raise just like the rest of the world. I want to eliminate these insane lifetime pensions that we the tax payers are stuck paying and I want to eliminate tenure which basically makes some of the worst teachers irremovable.

That's where the Tea Party is, where are you?

If all else fails just throw in Obama's name. What about Rev. Wright while you are at it. Nice way of dodging the issue.

Obama is in the pocket of big business. Next...

What is dodging the issue? The Tea Party has no power to reduce the number of troops on the ground, or the overall cost of the military. That is done by the Commander in Chief, President Obama.

I don't know what Rev Wright has to do with the deficit, but I suppose you could possibly find some sort of connection.
The Tea Party also started as a group supporting Ron Paul, the king of troop reductions and ending the wars we are fighting.

So you are in favor of making significant cuts to the budget of the defense department??
