Yea, well we already know what his answer is. Whatever. He bought into that neocon garbage hook, line and sinker. His advice as the SecDef to the President was horrible. And not just him...the VP and Secretary of State screwed the pooch just as bad as he did.
Frankly, i've got little patience for the not only the architects of the war, but for it's supporters either. Can't stand the sight of them. Especially people who STILL think that the war was worthwhile.
I personally feel that Babs herself should apoligize for subjecting her viewers on "The View" to herself!
She is getting way to long-in-the-tooth and should have retired long ago.
I click on the "The View" every once in a while to see what the Whoopster and Psycho Joy Behar are yappping about. It an easy way to keep the pulse on pop culture and the innane silly libs.
But when Babs shows up the dynamics of the show are completely different and "off."
All the other co-hosts cow-toe and bow down to Babs and are so deferential and cloying it is sickening. The show takes a bad turn when Babs is there.
Babs should gracefully step aside (although it is way past the graceful option) and let the show continue without her. She has long overstayed her usefulness. She is boring and they are only nice to her because of her 'grand dam" status.
She reminds me of an old football coach who was once idolized but who refuses to retire (HELLO Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden!). It is sad and embarrasing and they lose any respect they once had.
An apology will not bring back over 4k dead US military members; 30k+seriously injured US military members; untold failed marriages; over 100k dead Iraqi's. An apology will not bring back an infrastructure that the US destroyed. It will not find homes for the 52% of Iraqi's who lost their homes.
An apology won't give us back our money that we spent on these ill-fated excursions into the middle east.
It doesn't matter if he apologizes or not.
Words won't fix it.
