Pictures they printed from Wisconsin today. I got a kick out of seeing my daughter in law and a piece of my son in these pictures.
OMG, that sign on the capitol grounds is sooooooooo ironic! LMAO!
And I love all the "In-State Agitator" people and signs! Thank you so much for sharing that link. Since I'm not really a Kos visitor, I probably would have missed it otherwise.
More than 1,000 teachers, state employees and firefighters rallied outside the Colorado Capitol on Saturday in support of Wisconsin public workers face the elimination of their bargaining rights.
Some 25 counter-protesters rallied on the Capitol’s west steps, and troopers stepped in to stop a few passionate arguments that erupted between a couple attendees.
LOL, that's the best the TP could do, in this state?
Thanks, Kat! Me, too! We took the train (or should I say trains, plural) downtown, and on one of them we met a couple of young men on their way to the rally, too. Then on the platform waiting for the next train, we met yet another young man headed to the rally. The whole experience was just awesome. So glad we went!
Downtown Los Angeles City Hall Rally in support of the Wisconsin Public Sector Union Employees.
Some people took the opportunity to express their views on other issues than the Unions. . .
The crowd was really fired up! Sorry for the poor quality video. They look better in Windows Media Player than they uploaded to YouTube for some reason. Ah well, you'll get the idea nonetheless.
A woman talks about her daughter who attends college in Wisconsin, and how the students are supporting the unions:
What a great, invigorating experience! It feels wonderful to have done my small part to show support for the workers in Wisconsin. It was an extremely "peaceful" rally. I didn't see any anti-union folks there.
When it was over and people were walking en masse from the park in front of city hall through the streets of downtown, horns were honking in support all over the place. It felt really empowering!

Thanks for the pics. i didn't take any in Tallahassee, but the people were equally enthused.

Fantastic, thanks for sharing these pictures. I wasn't able to make our local event which was a pity as Tea Party Supporters were apparently very rude and disruptive. When the next rally happens locally, I will definitely be there.
