I, for one, am actually glad they are making a despicable spectacle out of themselves by defending the indefensible. Unions have gone hog wild in Wisconsin, California and other places. Their incenstuous relationship with lawmakers is, well, incenstuous at the expense of the state. The sweet-heart deals they have concocted and foisted upon the taxpayer are grotesque (with apologies to grossness world-wide). Keep it up, you are disgusting real Americans from coast-to-coast. Your unfettered greed, not self-concern, but abject greed, is on public display now for all to see, gag-over and reject at the ballot box.

WI Governor (King) Scott Walker pronounced the Capitol, a public building, off limits to protesters. In effect Walker was trying to silence the 1st amendment rights of the citizens of WI. However, a judge ruled otherwise!
Ohhh now a sudden cry for decorum? He might have thought of that before he decided to recklessly rabble rouse & escalate this as personal attack on citizens/ labor. The last bit of legislation they ever manage to consider is the legislation they need on their own arrogance.
This string of posts very well illustrated the totalitarian nature of the Right Wing. They insist the demonstrators, peaceful or not, must be controlled because no one has any right to question their paternal overlords. This is beginning to sound like the anti war protests of the late 60’s.
Allow me to unconfuse your understanding of conservatives, if I may.
We are not for controlling people (that is solidly in the hands of the left with all their various and sundry "bans" and "fill-in-the-blank control").
Nobody is saying they can't protest, can't offer their opinion, forcefully and loudly, but you don't have a right to interfere with the operation of the organs of government, anymore than Tea Party people would or should have the right to flood the White House or U.S. Senate Chambers to protest at length. Perhaps for a day or so, but not on and on. The right of the people at large to have their collective business addressed by their representatives must, at some point, trump the right of the mob to block it.
That is why we have certain restrictions in, say, a court of law, or similar places.
I defend your right to speak your mind, fully and completely, even if I think it is complete BS. That is part and parcel of being an American, but some places have to have some modicum of order to them in order for our form of government to succeed. If we devolve into mob-rule, we are all doomed, Tea Party, GOP, Democrat and Independent alike.

First thing you've posted that I agree with. Funny though, I seem to remember all the disruption of town Hall meetings by the radical right during the McCain campaign.
