So anyone that thinks that the tea party is xenophobic and racist is a leftist? Try telling that to my dad. He voted for Bush, McCain, is anti gay marriage, anti abortion, anti union, pro big business and agrees that the tea party are a bunch of backwards reactionaries.
All the video proves is that the NPR exec is biased against the tea party, nothing more. Big freakin deal. Doesn't mean he's liberal, or that npr hosts are liberal, or even biased.
The vast majority of programing on NPR is apolitical, such as car talk, this american life, sound opinions, etc.. That would be like a lefty saying that the shows or movies produced by Fox Entertainment (not Fox news) are right wing.
Wow, those NPR execs sound so uneducated, uninformed and prejudiced. It's a free country so they can have their radical views but they should not get tax payers dollars if they don't want to maintain a degree of professionalism. Let NPR go private and see if they can sell their slanted views commercially.
Have you seen the way a lot of the media is slanting this story?
Remember when Van Jones was outed (at the time he was working in the Obama administration) for being a self-avowed Communist? He was on tape saying he was a Communist, making fun of conservatives and on the record for being a 9/11 truther? Only, when the mainstream media reported the story they made it sound like the reasons he was out of a job in the dead of night was because he made fun of Republicans and was a 9/11 truther. The mainstream media didn't mention the self-avowed Communist part. They didn't show the tape of Valerie Jarrett saying "they" (Obama's people) had their eye on Van Jones for a long time (except, oops they must have missed the Communist thing).
So, now we have the NPR guy is gone story by the mainstream media and guess what many aren't mentioning? The Jewish/Muslim Brotherhood factor. It's all about the NPR guy Shiller maligning the tea party. Really? That was Shiller's problem?

Associated press: Departing NPR executive slams tea party on hidden camera, fueling conservative ire on funding
USA Today: "The NPR executive who was caught on a secretly taped video calling Tea Party supporters "racist" and saying the news organization would be better off without federal funding resigned late Tuesday night."
Uhhh, how about "NPR guy, who met with People he Thinks are With The Muslim Brotherhood and said Zionists have obvious control over newspapers, leaves NPR."
"An undercover video of a departing National Public Radio fundraising executive shows him nodding in agreement as men posing as representatives of a Muslim Brotherhood front group rip Jewish control of the media. Eventually, the President of the NPR Foundation and VP for development, Ron Schiller chimes in, saying that Zionist influence doesn't exist at NPR, but 'it's there in those who own newspapers obviously.'"
Slanting news stories in this country, these days, appears to me to be more about omission. Downplay the whole Muslim Brotherhood/Jewish thing and make it all about the tea party.
I'm editing/adding on to my own post:
Look USA Today IS STILL NOT MENTIONING the Muslim Brotherhood/Zionist comments part of this story:
"NPR has announced that CEO Vivian Schiller has resigned. Schiller is not related to former fundraising chief Ron Schiller, who was caught on a secretly taped video blasting Tea Party supporters as "racist" and saying the public broadcasting outlet doesn't need federal funding."
Well, with the resignation of Schiller, I think we should all give a big shout out, kudos, to that slayer of the bastions of liberalism, James O'Keefe. Acorn, PP, now NPR.
Yeah, looks like celebration time for the bigots of the country.
you really think the libs will whoop it up over this?
