Actually...understanding of all three branches of government is probably at an all-time high.
You cannot tell that from the vast majority of American voters. Most of these idiots blame or credit Presidents for acts of Congress. I am not entirely surprised either, when the media is the primary source for their ignorance.

John Stewart's Daily Show, The View, The David Letterman Show and SNL are the news sources for far too many people.
I think maybe we should shutdown the government after all they have no money.
Until they can balance the budget I think we should stop paying taxes while we are at it.

I guess I'm trying to figure out what difference does it make where you get your "news" source - be it John Stewart, Rush Limbaugh, NBC, or directly from that lying tailed, propoganda-filled government of yours. All of it is bull manure.
All of these "news" sources get mis-fed info from those jokers that won a popularity and fund-raising contest. At least the news erroneously gets it wrong due to suspect sources (the gov't being one of them). the government purposely lies just to get buy-in...see WMDs, Healthcare "debates", the 9/11 Commission.
You bumped a 6 year old thread...with the "latest"?
Really.....must be a slow news day....
ROTFLMFAO!! Oooops! Thought it was current thread when I saw April---Well..it goes to show..the more things change....etc., etc., etc.
