Obama could have declared the military as essential personel and there pay would have gone on. But this agian proves that Obama and Democrats do not like the military at all. Otherwise Obama could have by passed all the problems with a simple declarication from the whitehouse.

Sorry, that would not have happened. Even essential personnel will have to wait until a budget is passed, to get paid.

Do you not get it?

The military IS essential. They have been declared essential. Just like some civilian government workers. That is why the military members must get up tomorrow morning and go to work. Because they are, let's spell it now, E-S-S-E-N-T-I-A-L. As such, they WILL get paid when things start moving again.

It really scares me that the public doesn't even know what the deal is and just twist it to suit their side.

The military members will get paid. They are essential. Their pay will be delayed. It would have been paid on time had the GOP NOT put a Planned Parenthood rider on the bill that would KEEP their pay timely. Why don't you see that? They used the military as chess piece on their agenda.

The only reason this is going to happen is because the democrats and the President WANT a shutdown because it is good politics for them.

They WANT Americans to be without paychecks and to lose their homes and go hungry. they WANT our military men and women to suffer this indignaty because it buys them votes.

This is happening because the democrats PLANNED for it to happen back when they figured out they were going to take a bath in last years election.

this budget was supposed to be in place before last Oct. it isnt in place because democrats didnt want it in place.

DEMOCRATS WANT A SHUTDOWN AND FOR AMERICANS TO LOSE THEIR HOMES AN GO HUNGREY

Default Reality Check

It's amazing to me how they brainwash their followers to answer with one or two talking points -- even when reality doesn't line up with the facts,

i.e.,...

"Less regulations on businesses" (how we got into the current situation)

"War is good for the economy." (why we took over Iraq)

"Less government, less spending",.... the Republicans are manipulating and controlling the existing government to shut down the government and it's going to cost the country how much per day?

And while they're busy filibustering and throwing around their new power what is really going on with our economy?

Are they bringing us any new jobs?

well lets start with some facts.

the current situation was arrived at by both increased regulation where there should not be (forcing banks to lend money to people who could not pay the loans back) and removing regulations that should not have been removed (repeal Glass Stegal).... both of these were supported by both conservatives and liberals... it is in effect a zero sum game.

second, "was is good for the economy" was NEVER part of the reason we went into Iraq. this is what we call a factual inaccuracy.

As for less gov/spending.... it is quite simple. We have a certain amount of money coming into the government. Why in the name of the sweet clean baby Jesus would be spend TRILLIONS more than we are bringing in?

honestly, I understand why you come to your wacky wrong conclusions. Your facts are bogus.
