Unanswerable without knowing the 2012 GOP ticket, his first term benefitted America by keeping the fear-mongering old man and the ditz away from the White House.

Real answer please. Look at what is going on in the world right now, and tell us how Obama is making it better.

I don't think he is, necessarily.

I also don't think that if a Republican president were in office right now, that he or she would be doing any better.

But because Obama is...Obama, he gets held to a different standard by the gibbering right wing baboons.

Because he's black.

Yeah that's right. I said it. A white liberal in the White House wouldn't be getting this level of irrational rage.

Just to be clear - I ain't asking about the world.

I'm talking about you, me, the neighbor down the street - regular Americans - how do we benefit from four more years?

President Obama is slowly taking control of this government as evidenced by our not interfering in Libya. He is making life better for many. Given another five years we may gain our independence from big oil, business and finance.

A lot are still receiving enough unemployment to keep the house and stay warm. The Republicans would never have done that for the unemployed and destitute. Republicans do not believe these people even exist.

For reference - I'm black - so you can put that in the circular file.

Answer the question. You have to live and exist and take care of yourself while he is president. How does he help you?

He's making America better by NOT getting us involved in more places that aren't our business.

What does that mean? Are we slaves?
How is he making life better?

I just want a little more detail.

No, I don't think I will. My theory certainly doesn't apply to everyone that has criticisms of Obama.

Even if you are black. Who knows if you are, really?

Certainly not everyone is motivated by racism in criticizing Obama.

BUT MANY OF THEM ARE.

By stablizing the economy, by investing in infrastructure instead of bombs, by promoting civil rights in the face of an assault from the authoritarian Right.

By hopefully putting some more people on the SCOTUS, so the right wing loonies don't drag us all back to the 1600s.
