WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton says she does not want to stay on as secretary of state if President Barack Obama wins re-election in 2012.
Clinton told CNN on Wednesday that she is happy in her current role and does not want to become president, vice president or defense secretary. In an interview in Cairo, Clinton says she has no interest in running for president in 2016 and plans to spend the next two years at the State Department.
Some have speculated Clinton could move to the Pentagon or mount another White House campaign.

thank god obama's a one term. i bet when he's not relected he'll go aournd telling other countries how we hate them cause we didn't re elect him once was enough we will be in debt after our great great grand children are passed on. i never seen a president on tv so much i'm wondering if he's trying to start his own ohpra winfrey show lol. when there lips a flapping i don't trust em
Who would want that job? Obama's unwilling to take on any pressing issues the State Department would be able to help with. Israel-Palestinians. Iranian Nuclear technology. etc. He's continued Bush's policies curtailing civil liberties, war mongering, attacks on at least 5 Muslim countries. Continuing to anger the rest of the World making the State Department job futile.
Clinton as SecState is about the wisest decision he has ever made. She's so good, she can even make him look good.
Clinton has said from the beginning, she was not interested in running for President again, and that she was only considering her posting to SecState as a 1-term position. She's been saying it since 2009.
Obama makes Hillary's job, already difficult, even more so. There's nothing like having an inept boss.
I'm not a fan of Hillary's but I sympathize with her considering all that is going on in the world. Seems like she's the only one working. Obama appears paralyzed into inaction.
